Common use

Duzela capsule is a medicine that helps manage various conditions like depression, anxiety disorder, diabetic nerve pain, and neuropathic pain. The medicine helps improve mood, reduces anxiety and tension, and aids in sleep. It also helps ease restlessness, tiredness, and sleep problems associated with anxiety disorder.

Dosage and direction

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Can be taken with or without food. Best to take it at the same time every day.

Precautions

Take this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding only if prescribed by your doctor.
Patients who have kidney or liver problems, a history of bleeding disorders, eye disorders, have had seizures, suffer from bipolar disorder, and are at risk of low sodium levels should exercise caution when taking this medicine.

Contraindications

Duzela is contraindicated in patients with known allergies to duloxetine and in patients with severe liver and kidney disease, who are taking fluvoxamine and monoamine oxidase inhibitors.

Possible side effect

Taking this may cause some side effects. Here are some common ones you may experience: Nausea: You may feel sick or have an upset stomach; Dry mouth: Your mouth may feel dry or sticky; Headache: You may have a pain in your head.

Drug interaction

Certain antidepressants, such as fluoxetine and sertraline, can interact with Duzela capsule. Pain medications like tramadol and opioids may have interactions with this medicine. Medications for high blood pressure, such as verapamil and diltiazem, should be used cautiously with Duzela.

Missed dose

If you forget to take Duzela capsule as instructed, take it as soon as you remember. If it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Never increase your dosage without consulting your doctor.

Overdose

If you take too much of this medicine, it can lead to symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and sleepiness. If you or someone else accidentally takes an overdose, seek medical help.

Storage

Store Duzela capsule in a cool and dry place below 30°C. Protect the medicine from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children. Use the product before its expiry date.
